Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sudopy application, website and related services (together, "Sudopy" or the "Service"). By creating an account, installing the application or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live or have the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent that this is so. Sudopy may refuse, suspend or terminate access to anyone at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability.

2. The Service

Sudopy uses artificial intelligence to generate study material and to respond to you: summaries, audio, notes, flashcards, quizzes, visuals, answers, solutions, study plans and voice lessons. The Service is a general study aid and nothing more. It is not a school, a teacher, a tutor, an examination authority, or a source of professional, academic, medical, legal, financial or any other advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them.

Sudopy may change, suspend, limit or discontinue any part or all of the Service, any feature, any limit and any price, at any time, with or without notice, and shall have no liability to you or anyone else for doing so.

3. Your account

You access the Service with a third-party sign-in (Google or Apple). You are solely responsible for that account, for keeping it secure and for everything done through it, whether or not authorised by you. Sudopy is not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to let anyone else:

  • upload, submit or generate any material that you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, harmful to minors, or otherwise objectionable;
  • use the Service to cheat in any examination, assessment or course, or to help anyone else do so;
  • copy, scrape, extract, reproduce, sell, sublicense or otherwise exploit the Service or any content obtained from it, or access the Service other than through the application as Sudopy provides it;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, probe, overload, interfere with or circumvent any part of the Service, its security, its limits or its providers;
  • use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any person.

Sudopy may remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, that it in its sole judgement considers to breach these Terms or to expose Sudopy to risk, without notice and without liability.

5. Your content

You retain whatever rights you hold in the material you submit ("Your Content"). You grant Sudopy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, transmit, display and distribute Your Content and anything generated from it, for the purposes of operating, providing, securing and improving the Service, including showing a study set that is public to other users of the Service. This licence lasts for as long as the content exists on the Service. You can make a study set private, or delete it, at any time.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having every right, consent and permission needed to submit it and to grant this licence. You represent and warrant that Your Content does not infringe or violate the rights of any person or any law. Sudopy does not review Your Content and has no obligation to monitor it, but may do so.

Study sets made public are visible to other users without any identification of the account that made them. Sudopy makes no representation that any public content is accurate, lawful or appropriate, and is not responsible for it. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, write to info@sudopy.ai with enough detail to identify it; Sudopy may remove content at its sole discretion.

6. Artificial intelligence; no warranty of accuracy

Everything the Service generates is produced automatically by artificial intelligence models from what you and other users submit. Such output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, misleading, biased or inappropriate, and may resemble material produced for others. Sudopy does not verify any output and makes no representation or warranty of any kind as to its accuracy, completeness, originality, quality, fitness for any purpose or non-infringement. You alone are responsible for how you use any output and for verifying it before relying on it. Any reliance on the Service or its output is at your own risk.

7. Subscriptions, credits and payments

Parts of the Service are available only with a paid subscription ("Pro") or with credits. Credits are a unit of use of the Service with no monetary value: they cannot be transferred, exchanged, redeemed or refunded, may expire as stated at purchase, and are forfeited when an account is deleted or terminated for any reason. What an action consumes, what a free account may do, and what Pro includes may change at any time.

All purchases are made through, billed by and subject to the terms of Google Play or the Apple App Store, which also handle renewals, cancellations and refunds under their own rules. Sudopy does not process payments, does not hold your payment details and does not itself give refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the store. Prices may change; a change applies from the next renewal.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including sign-in providers, cloud hosting, artificial intelligence providers, app stores and analytics providers, and may link to or embed third-party content such as videos. Sudopy does not control and is not responsible for any third-party service, content or practice, and their availability, terms and policies are their own.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, names, logos, voices, characters and all content Sudopy provides other than Your Content, is owned by or licensed to Sudopy and protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application for your personal, non-commercial study, and nothing else. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Any feedback you give may be used by Sudopy freely and without obligation.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND EVERYTHING PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY OR FREEDOM FROM ERROR. SUDOPY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS, BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE CORRECT, OR THAT ANY RESULT, GRADE, SCORE OR OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUDOPY AND ANYONE ACTING ON ITS BEHALF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, ACADEMIC OR EXAMINATION RESULT, OR FOR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, ITS OUTPUT, ANY CONTENT, OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF SUDOPY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SUDOPY THROUGH THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND TEN EUROS. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND DO NOT EXCLUDE LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW, INCLUDING RIGHTS YOU HAVE AS A CONSUMER WHERE YOU LIVE.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sudopy and anyone acting on its behalf from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to Your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of the rights of any person.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the application. Sudopy may suspend or terminate your access, delete your account and its content, or stop providing the Service, at any time, for any reason or none, with or without notice, and without liability. Termination does not entitle you to any refund or compensation, and credits are forfeited. Sections 5 to 16 survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

Sudopy may change these Terms at any time by publishing the revised Terms on this page with a new date. Where the law requires, the application will tell you of a material change before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change is your acceptance of it. If you do not accept a change, you must stop using the Service.

15. Governing law; disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the country in which Sudopy is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in the country where you live provides otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action, and must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to it or is forever barred.

16. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Sudopy about the Service and supersede any prior agreement. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is enforced to the fullest extent permitted and the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; Sudopy may assign them freely. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, agency or employment relationship. Sudopy is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
