Privacy Policy
Last updated November 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Sudopy ("Sudopy", "we") handles information in connection with the Sudopy application, website and related services (the "Service"). It forms part of the Terms of Service. By using the Service you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.
1. Information we process
Account information. You sign in through Google or Apple. We receive and keep the identifier the sign-in provider gives us, your email address and the name the provider shares, as the provider decides to share them. The name you type in the application for the tutor to use is sent to the tutoring provider during a lesson and is not stored by us.
Profile information. The exams, subjects, grade, country and language you set in the application, used to personalize what the Service generates and recommends.
Material you submit. Topics, pasted text, uploaded files (documents, photos, recordings) and video links. Files are stored privately and deleted once your study set has been generated or after seven days, whichever comes first; pasted text and video identifiers are deleted at the same time. You are responsible for what you submit.
Generated and activity information. The study sets the Service generates for you, your progress, favourites, study plans, solved questions and the photos you submitted for them, and your conversations with the AI tutors.
Voice lessons. A voice lesson is relayed to the AI provider as it happens. We do not record or store its audio or its words. We keep the fact, duration and cost of a session.
Purchase information. Purchases are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store and managed through a subscription platform. We receive the product, transaction identifiers, dates and status of a purchase. We never receive your payment card or bank details.
Usage, device and attribution information. Information about how the application is used (screens, features, events), the device and application version, identifiers for analytics, crash reports describing failures, and, on installation, the device's advertising identifier and the campaign an installation came from.
Permissions. The microphone (recordings and voice lessons) and the camera and photo library (photographed material), used only when you use those features and revocable in your device settings.
2. How we use it
We use information to provide, operate, secure, personalize and improve the Service; to generate content for you; to recommend public study sets; to process purchases; to enforce our Terms, moderate content and prevent abuse; to analyse usage and measure marketing; to communicate with you about the Service; and to comply with law. Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service, your consent where you give it, and our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not serve third-party advertising inside the Service.
3. Public study sets
A study set you create is public by default and may be viewed, studied, saved and reported by any user of the Service. Public sets are shown without your name, email or any account identifier. You may make a set private, or public again, at any time, and you may delete it. You are responsible for anything you choose to make public. The underlying files you upload are never shown to anyone.
4. Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the Service: with service providers that act on our behalf, including cloud hosting and storage, sign-in, artificial intelligence providers that generate content and hold lessons, a video platform's API that checks links you submit, subscription management, analytics, crash reporting and install attribution providers; with the app stores for purchases; where required by law, legal process or to protect rights, safety or property; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets. Each provider receives only what its function requires and under its own terms, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible.
Content you submit is transmitted to artificial intelligence providers to generate your material and to respond to you. We use these providers under terms that, as published by them, do not permit the use of such content to train their models. Their practices are governed by their own policies.
5. International transfers
The Service is hosted in the European Union, and some providers may process information in other countries. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Service you understand that information may be processed outside the country where you live.
6. Retention
Submitted files, pasted text and video identifiers: until your study set is generated, at most seven days. Study sets, progress, favourites, plans, solves and conversations: until you delete them or your account. Voice lesson audio and words: not retained. Purchase records: as long as required by law. Usage, crash and attribution information: as retained by the respective providers, and afterwards in aggregate form that identifies no one. We may retain information longer where required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.
7. Deleting your account
You may delete your account from the application at any time (Profile, Delete account), which removes your account and the information associated with it, except what we must retain by law. Instructions, including for deletion without the application, are at Account deletion.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Most of these you can exercise in the application. For the rest, write to info@sudopy.ai. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we respond as applicable law requires.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the Service to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and device secure.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, write to info@sudopy.ai and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing the revised version on this page with a new date. Where the law requires, the application will tell you of a material change. Your continued use of the Service after a change is your acknowledgement of it.
12. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your information go to info@sudopy.ai. No other means of contact is provided.
